What's your favorite scary movie?
Halloween is no doubt my favorite time of the year. Scary movies, bonfires, fall candles...
A grueling wedding schedule typically keeps me from shooting anything for fun or personal reasons. I rarely pick up my camera when I'm not on the job. But in 2019 I finally did something I'd been wanting to do for such a long time. I started a "31 Days of Halloween" challenge, where I recreated iconic moments from horror movies. These were all done as self portraits or of my closest friends. Each day of October, I released a new photo. This ended up being so much harder than I anticipated, but after news organizations all over the country started running segments and writing articles about this series, the pressure was ON. Each day I tried to find ways to top the previous day. This ended up being one of the proudest moments of my career so far. Everyone keeps asking if I'm going to reprise the series, but the jury is still out! Below is the interview I did with THV11 on Halloween night. Then below is the entire series from start to finish!
